FRAUENZIMMER is a hotel room concept for business women. Although special attention is given to new interior concepts for hotel rooms the evergrowing number of business women and their needs for their travels and stays are underestimated. In this Project I tried to go into the depth of the requirements that business women have to ensure a productive but also relaxing business trip when it comes to their accomodation.
From dividing the living space into different areas such as levels a clear working or relaxing divide is created. Special attention is given to the behaviour and characteristics of women and translated into features in this interior concept;
A wardrobe that can be modified according to personal needs.
Vis-á-vis mirrors to facilitate a complete view of an outfit.
Multiple surfaces to spread and place personal belongings.
Different light temperatures in the living space and in the bathroom; as warmer light temperatures enable better make-up apllication.
Warm and neutral colours that soothe the eye.
